The 8th Annual Columbia Invitation Golf Tournament and Benefit Auction at the Astoria Golf & Country Club was a great success, raising more than $234,500 in gross proceeds to benefit ongoing projects at CMH.
Since our first Golf Tournament and Benefit Auction in 2000, CMHF has raised over $978,000 in gross proceeds from the auction and golf tournament. Without the generous support of our sponsors and attendees, this event would not be possible.
This year the Foundation is rasing funds for the acquisition of a new Digital Mammography System. The Fund-a-Need portion of the auction raised $68,850 for the new system. We have also received a $45,000 grant from the Ann & Bill Swindells Charitble Trust. We still need to raise $186,150. (see related story below and see how you can help.)
To each of the golfers who played in our tournament, along with all of our generous sponsors, hard-working volunteers, planners and staff, and of course the generous auction bidders at the Evening at Old St. Andrews, the Foundation thanks you for your continued support of quality healthcare in our community.
